THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday:

Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust BUOU (FLCT): A wholly-owned subsidiary of FLCT's trustee has priced S$150 million of its maiden 2.18 per cent sustainability notes due 2028. The issuance was three times subscribed based on a final order book which was in excess of S$450 million, the manager said on Thursday. FLCT units closed 0.7 per cent or S$0.01 lower at S$1.52 on Thursday, before the announcement.

PropNex OYY and APAC Realty CLN : Shares of PropNex rose 5.5 per cent or S$0.11 to S$2.10 at Thursday's close, while shares of APAC Realty, which owns ERA Realty Network, ended 7.9 per cent or six Singapore cents higher at 82 cents. PropNex's share price movement triggered a query from the bourse, which it responded to by saying it did not have information that would explain the trading.

AEI Corporation AWG : The electronic component manufacturing company saw a 19 per cent spike in its share price by afternoon trade Thursday, hitting an intraday high of S$1.44 at 1.58pm. The activity triggered the bourse's second query to the company in three months, but it responded on Thursday evening saying it did not possess any previously unannounced information. Shares of AEI closed at S$1.37 on Thursday.

Mercurius Capital Investment 5RF : The firm responded late Thursday to queries from SGX regarding its acquisition of a Malaysian supermarket chain, explaining that it didn't need shareholder approval because they "are fully aware of this and of the fact that by considering and voting on the new business, they are considering and indirectly voting on the proposed acquisition". Shares of Mercurius closed Thursday at 7.3 Singapore cents, down 1.2 cents or 14.1 per cent.

UOL U14 : The property group (see amendment note) will launch a new condominium project, the 448-unit Watergardens, for preview on Saturday, banking on pent-up demand. Prices will start from S$1,380 per square foot, with two to four-bedroom units available. Shares of UOL closed Thursday at S$7.33, down S$0.07 or 1 per cent.

Sembcorp Marine S51 : The offshore & marine player was questioned by the Securities Investors Association Singapore on Thursday regarding its proposed rights issue, having caused "great concern" among the company's minority shareholders. This on the back of Sembmarine CEO Wong Weng Sun's expression of optimism in the firm's H2 2020 results briefing in February. Sembmarine shares closed 0.8 per cent or 0.1 Singapore cent lower at 11.8 cents on Thursday.

Amendment note: A previous version of this article described UOL as a "management consulting" firm. This error has been corrected.
