Stocks to watch: Frasers Property, Jumbo, Lian Beng, VC Plus
THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday:
Frasers Property: TQ5 Its wholly-owned subsidiary has priced a second tranche of fixed rate notes due in 2028 at 3 per cent, the principal amount being S$100 million. The notes will form a single series with the 3 per cent notes also due in 2028 issued on Sept 23. Shares of Frasers Property ended flat at S$1.13 on Monday, before the announcement.
Jumbo Group: 42R The seafood operator on Monday opened a new Tsui Wah outlet at Jewel Changi Airport. Another outlet at The Heeren, which had been closed since December last year, will be scheduled to reopen in November. Shares of Jumbo closed 1.7 per cent or half a Singapore cent lower at 29.5 cents on Monday, before the announcement.
Lian Beng Group: L03 On Monday the building contractor disclosed that government grants received to help defray additional operating costs due to the Covid-19 pandemic had factored into higher remuneration payable to its key executives for the FY2021 ended May. Shares of Lian Beng closed 1 per cent or half a Singapore cent higher at 51.5 Singapore cents on Monday, before the announcement.
VCPlus: 43E It is acquiring technology consultancy firm APEC Solutions for S$5 million. In a bourse filing on Monday evening, the Catalist-listed gold miner said its proposed deal is a strategic move to accelerate its business growth in the technology consulting space. Prior to the news, shares of VCPlus closed flat at 2.5 Singapore cents.
