Stocks to watch: Frasers Property, Keppel, Yanlord, Kimly, Daiwa House Logistics Trust

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Nov 26):

Frasers Property: TQ5 : TQ5 0% Its wholly-owned subsidiary Suzhou Sing He Xiang Management Consultancy on Thursday (Nov 25) entered into an agreement with a joint venture (JV) partner and its related entity to participate in a potential investment in land. If the deal materialises, SHX will acquire an indirect interest of up to 40 per cent in the JV. SHX will be providing funding of some 1.6 billion yuan (S$337 million) and an interest-bearing bridging loan of some 1 billion yuan. Shares of the counter closed flat at S$1.18 on Thursday.

Keppel Corporation: BN4 Keppel Offshore & Marine has been awarded work worth around S$200 million for the conversion of a floating storage and regasification unit, and the integration of a floating production storage and offloading vessel, mainboard-listed Keppel Corp said in a statement on Thursday. The counter ended S$0.01 or 0.2 per cent lower at S$5.36 before the announcement.

Yanlord Land Group: Z25 The real estate developer said it achieved pre-sales transactions totalling 5.08 billion yuan (S$1.09 billion) from selling out all the units at the launch of apartment units at Yanlord Arcadia in Shanghai. Yanlord shares closed flat at S$1.10 on Thursday.

Kimly: 1D0 The coffee shop and food court operator reported a 55.7 per cent growth in net profit to S$39.3 million for the full year ended Sep 30, 2021. This comes on the back of an increase in revenue across the board, up 13.2 per cent to S$238.6 million, the group said in a bourse filing on Thursday. Shares of Kimly ended S$0.005 or 1.3 per cent higher at S$0.405 before the announcement.

Daiwa House Logistics Trust: DHLU The real estate investment trust (Reit) on Thursday announced that the public offer of 25 million units to Singapore investors under its initial public offering was 9.5 times subscribed. Trading in units of the Reit on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange will commence at 2 pm on Friday (Nov 26).
