Stocks to watch: Global Yellow Pages, Soilbuild, Roxy-Pacific, OKP Holdings
THE following companies may be in focus on Tuesday:
Global Yellow Pages Limited (GYP): GYP announced on Tuesday that it will restructure its business to focus on real estate as its core business, and cease publication of print directories from 2018. As a result, there will be retrenchments in the company but no figures were revealed.
Soilbuild Construction Group: The group on Monday reported a 70 per cent fall in net profit for the second quarter ended June 30 to S$0.6 million, down from S$2.183 million a year ago. No dividends have been declared for the period.
Roxy-Pacific Holdings: The developer's net profit tumbled 26 per cent to S$14.7 million from the previous year, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Monday evening. Dividend per share stood at 0.214 Singapore cent, compared to 0.503 Singapore cent last year.
OKP Holdings: Construction firm OKP Holdings on Monday reported that its second-quarter net profit doubled to S$4.95 million from a year ago, on the back of strong growth in revenue from its maintenance segment.
