Stocks to watch: Manulife US Reit, Great Eastern, SIA Engineering, Golden Energy
THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Wednesday (Nov 2):
Manulife US Reit : BTOU 0%: The trust’s manager posted on Wednesday a portfolio occupancy rate of 88.1 per cent for its third quarter ended Sep 30, a decline from 90 per cent in the second quarter. This was attributed to the downsizing of one of its Figueroa property tenants. The manager also reported a rental reversion of 4.3 per cent for Q3. Units of Manulife US Reit closed 2.7 per cent or US$0.01 lower at US$0.355 on Tuesday.
Great Eastern : G07 0%: OCBC’s insurance arm posted a net profit of S$278 million for Q3 FY2022, up 30 per cent from S$213.3 million a year ago. This was driven by higher profit from its insurance business, it shared on Wednesday, despite total weighted new sales in Q3 sinking 27 per cent year on year to S$403.4 million. Shares of Great Eastern closed 0.8 per cent or S$0.14 higher at S$18.04 on Tuesday.
