Stocks to watch: Rickmers, CapitaLand, FCL
THE following stocks had announcements that could affect trading activity on Wednesday:
Rickmers Maritime Trust requested for a trading halt on Wednesday pending an update on the outcome of a formal meeting today.
At the meeting, noteholders will vote on the proposed restructuring of its S$100 million notes - this includes a part debt to equity conversion and extension of maturity - in relation to the consent solicitation exercise launched last month by the beleaguered firm.
Before trading hours, CapitaLand issued its third quarter report card; the real estate stalwart posted a 28.4 per cent rise in quarterly net profit to S$248 million on the back of a 27.7 per cent jump in revenue to S$1.4 billion.
Frasers Centrepoint (FCL) reported a 12 per cent drop in attributable profit to S$480 million for the full year ended September 2016 on the back of a 3.4 per cent fall in revenue to S$3.4 billion.
