THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday (Oct 12):
Singapore Airlines (SIA): C6L The flag carrier will be launching "seasonal flights" to Vancouver and Seattle between Dec 2, 2021 and Feb 15, 2022, SIA announced in a press release on Monday (Oct 11). It will also be converting its daily direct flights from San Francisco to Vaccinated Travel Lane services from next Wednesday (Oct 20). SIA shares closed at S$5.52 on Monday before the announcement, jumping S$0.39 or 7.6 per cent.
iFast Corp: AIY The wealth advisory platform said its assets under administration grew 62 per cent on-year to exceed S$1 billion as at Sep 30, 2021. This milestone is significant considering that the division is only four years old, said mainboard-listed iFast in a bourse filing on Monday (Oct 11). Shares of iFast fell 1.2 per cent or S$0.11 to close at S$9.31 on Monday, before the announcement.
Tuan Sing Holdings:T24The property developer on Tuesday (Oct 12) priced S$200 million in notes due 2024 at 6.9 per cent, to be issued under its S$900 million multicurrency medium-term note programme established in February 2013. Preference will be given to existing noteholders who participate in the group's tender offer exercise announced on Oct 1. Tuan Sing shares closed Monday (Oct 11) down S$0.005 or 1 per cent at S$0.48.
Trading halt: AU8U CapitaLand China Trust (CLCT) is making its first foray into China logistics through its S$297.7 million acquisition of 4 assets in Shanghai, Kunshan, Wuhan and Chengdu, the manager said on Tuesday. To partially fund the acquisition, CLCT has proposed a S$120 million private placement of about 103 million new units at an issue price of between S$1.165 and S$1.199 per new unit, with an upsize option of S$30 million. CLCT's manager called for a trading halt on Tuesday. CLCT's units closed flat at S$1.25 on Monday.
