Stocks to watch: SIA, LMIRT, SBS Transit, Cosco, ISOTeam, FJ Benjamin

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their shares on Tuesday:

Singapore Airlines (SIA): The airline's shares leaped more than 5 per cent on Monday following a global airline stock rally. Shares of SIA hit an intra-day high of S$5.30 before easing to finish at S$5.24, up S$0.26 or 5.2 per cent at Monday's closing.

Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust (LMIRT): Its distribution per unit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2020 plunged 92.3 per cent to 0.04 Singapore cent from 0.52 cent a year ago. Gross revenue was down 60.7 per cent to S$27.35 million due to discounts given to its tenants as a result of shorter opening hours amid the pandemic. Units in LMIRT closed at 6.3 Singapore cents on Monday, up 0.1 cent or 1.6 per cent.

SBS Transit: The transport company announced on Monday the appointment of Cheng Siak Kian as its chief executive officer. Shares in SBS finished 0.3 per cent lower, or S$0.01, at S$2.98 on Monday.

Cosco Shipping International: The firm's net profit rose 13 per cent year on year to S$8.3 million for FY2020, boosted by government grants as well as contributions from newly acquired subsidiaries in Malaysia. Revenue was 8 per cent higher at S$185.8 million on higher revenue contributions from the subsidiaries in Malaysia and revenue from its increased fleet of bulk carriers that the group had chartered in FY2020. The counter closed at 27.5 Singapore cents on Monday, up half a cent or 1.9 per cent.

ISOTeam: The group has appointed former member of Parliament Teo Ho Pin as an independent director to its board of directors. Shares of ISOTeam closed down 3.2 per cent, or 0.4 Singapore cent, to 12.8 cents on Monday.

FJ Benjamin Holdings: The fashion retailer will begin trading again on Tuesday on the Catalist board after it was removed from Singapore Exchange's watch list. Previously listed on the mainboard, FJ Benjamin announced its transfer to the Catalist board on Jan 24.
