    THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Wednesday:

    StarHub: CC3 It is acquiring a 50.1 per cent stake in MyRepublic's broadband business in Singapore for an initial consideration of S$70.8 million. A deferred consideration of S$92 million will be payable should future financial performance metrics be met, announced the telco in a regulatory filing on Wednesday. The counter closed S$0.02 or 1.6 per cent higher at S$1.24 on Tuesday.

    Oxley Holdings: 5UX The developer has divested land parcels at 173-177 Walker Street in Sydney, Australia for S$96.3 million. Oxley expects the transaction to contribute positively to its cashflow as there is no outstanding bank loan secured by the asset. Shares of mainboard-listed Oxley closed flat at S$0.20 on Tuesday.

    Clearbridge Health: 1H3 The Catalist-listed healthcare provider on Wednesday announced that its second batch of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccines have arrived in Singapore and are now available at its subsidiary-operated clinic at Tanjong Pagar Plaza. Registration for the first batch which arrived in late August has been fully allocated, said the group. Shares of Clearbridge ended Tuesday up 2.6 Singapore cents or 24.5 per cent at 13 cents.

    Sembcorp Marine (Sembmarine): S51 Temasek Holdings on Wednesday announced a mandatory conditional general cash offer for Sembmarine, after Temasek's stake in the latter was raised to 46.6 per cent from 42.2 per cent due to its rights issue. The offer price is in line with its right issue price at S$0.08 per share. Shares of Sembmarine closed up 0.3 Singapore cent or 3.7 per cent at 8.5 cents on Tuesday.

    Nanofilm Technologies: MZH Its founder and executive chairman has sold a 1 per cent stake of the company to Venezio Investments, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, for S$27.1 million. The sale is expected to be completed in a week's time, the company said on Tuesday. Shares of Nanofilm ended S$0.01 or 0.2 per cent higher at S$4.25 on Tuesday, before the news.
