Stocks to watch: ThaiBev, Ascendas Reit, Lendlease Reit, YZJFH, ESR-Logos Reit

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday (May 5):

Thai Beverage (ThaiBev) : The beer and liquor giant is resuming the proposed spin-off and listing of its brewery unit, BeerCo, on the Singapore Exchange. Its unit will conduct a public offering of up to 20 per cent of the total number of issued ordinary shares of BeerCo, ThaiBev said on Thursday. Shares of ThaiBev closed S$0.01 or 1.5 per cent lower at S$0.675 on Wednesday.

Ascendas Reit: The real estate investment trust on Wednesday reported positive rental reversion of 4.6 per cent for lease renewals in its first quarter ended Mar 31, with its portfolio occupancy standing at 92.6 per cent, down from 93.2 per cent in the last quarter. Units of Ascendas Reit ended 1.4 per cent or S$0.04 lower at S$2.82 on Wednesday, before the announcement
