Stocks to watch: UHReit, Golden Energy, Daiwa House Logistics Trust, Prime US Reit, First Reit
THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Wednesday (Nov 9):
United Hampshire US Reit : ODBU 0%: The real estate investment trust (Reit) on Wednesday posted an 8.1 per cent rise in distributable income to US$8.3 million for the third quarter ended Sep 30, boosted by contributions from a Pennsylvania shopping centre it acquired in July. The counter closed 1 per cent or US$0.005 lower at US$0.48 on Tuesday.
Golden Energy and Resources : AUE 0% (Gear): The coal miner will be taking the company private at a cash consideration of S$0.16 per share. It also proposed a distribution in specie of shares in Golden Energy Mines (Gems) on the basis of 1.3936 Gems shares per Gear share. Gear shareholders can also opt to receive about 7,664.80 rupiah (S$0.686) per share instead. Shares of Gear closed on Tuesday 25.6 per cent or S$0.23 lower at S$0.67.
