Tokyo: Shares close marginally lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks ended marginally lower Thursday, trimming earlier losses while a weaker dollar weighed on sentiment.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index ended down 0.04 per cent, or 8.41 points, to 19,371.46. The Topix index of all first-section issues lost 0.05 per cent, or 0.84 points, to sit at 1,556.25.
