[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks rose on Monday as investors awaited a historic US-North Korea summit and central bank meetings of major economies this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index added 0.48 per cent or 109.54 points to close at 22,804.04 while the broader Topix index rose 0.30 per cent or 5.40 points at 1,786.84.
