Tokyo: Shares open 0.89% lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened 0.89 per cent lower on Friday as Wall Street remained flat with trading quiet ahead of a US jobs report later in the day.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange fell 158.03 points to 17,564.39 in opening deals.
