Tokyo: Shares open lower after falls on Wall Street

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened slightly lower on Friday, tracking overnight falls on Wall Street.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.31 per cent or 65.96 points to 21,398.27 in early trade while the broader Topix index lost 0.44 per cent or 7.09 points at 1,606.41.
