Tokyo: Shares rebound, end higher

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks shed earlier losses to end higher on Wednesday as bargain-hunters supported the market while other Asian bourses also hovered in positive territory.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 0.37 per cent, or 80.40 points, to 22,091.18, while the broader Topix index edged up 0.08 per cent, or 1.35 points, to 1,652.07.
