Tokyo: Stocks close 0.56% lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks closed 0.56 per cent lower on Wednesday, having lost ground gained earlier in the day after the dollar broke through the key 110 yen level.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange ended down 91.27 points at 16,082.25, while the Topix index of all first-section shares fell 0.61 per cent, or 8.08 points, to 1,318.21. - AFP
