[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks jumped 2.32 percent on Thursday, boosted by a rally on Wall Street and a weaker yen after the US Federal Reserve indicated it would hike interest rates by mid-2015.

The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange ended up 390.32 points at 17,210.05, while the Topix index of all first-section shares climbed 1.80 per cent, or 24.31 points, to 1,376.32.
