Tokyo: Stocks close at fresh two-year high

[TOKYO] Tokyo's benchmark stock index closed at its best level in more than two years on Tuesday, with investor sentiment buoyed by strong US manufacturing data and a weaker yen.
The Nikkei 225 index rose 1.05 per cent, or 213.29 points, to 20,614.07, the highest close since August 2015 while the broader Topix index gained 0.65 per cent, or 10.84 points, to 1,684.46.
