Tokyo: Stocks close higher

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks closed higher on Monday as Chinese shares rose on strong US jobs data.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 1.21 per cent, or 264.04 points, to end at 22,052.18 while the broader Topix was up 1.20 per cent, or 20.25 points, at 1,711.79.
