Tokyo: Stocks close lower for second day on virus fear

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks closed down on Tuesday for the second straight day on fears over the widening coronavirus outbreak in China.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.55 per cent, or 127.80 points, to 23,215.71, while the broader Topix index was down 0.60 per cent, or 10.29 points, at 1,692.28.
