Tokyo: Stocks close slightly lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks edged down on Thursday with investors cautious about US-Mexico trade talks and a strong yen.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 0.01 per cent, or 2.06 points, to 20,774.04 while the broader Topix index was down 0.34 per cent, or 5.17 points, at 1,524.91.
