Tokyo: Stocks close up

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks ended slightly higher on Friday in cautious trade short of key market-moving events, while airbag supplier Takata rallied after several days of losses before an expected bankruptcy filing.
Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei 225 index gained 0.11 per cent, or 22.16 points, to close at 20,132.67, while the Topix index of all first-section issues edged up 0.06 per cent, or 0.96 points, to 1,611.34.
