Tokyo: Stocks close up 0.92%

[Tokyo] Tokyo stocks closed 0.92 per cent higher on Wednesday, bouncing back after five days of losses as a weaker yen helped lift the market.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange, which sank to a two-month low on Tuesday, gained 137.01 points to finish at 15,073.52, while the Topix index of all first-section shares rose 0.77 per cent, or 9.40 points, to 1,223.67.
