[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks ran out of steam to end flat on Monday after recent gains and ahead of key Japanese and US central bank announcements.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index added 0.01 per cent, or 3.22 points, to end at 22,011.67, while the broader Topix index was down 0.01 per cent, or 0.21 points, at 1,770.84.
