Tokyo: Stocks open 0.48% higher

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened 0.48 per cent higher Friday, following robust performance of Wall Street shares with exporters also supported by a weak yen.
The Nikkei 225 index gained 84.03 points to 17,476.82 in the first minutes of trading.
