Tokyo: Stocks open 0.63% higher

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened up 0.63 per cent Tuesday, tracking modest gains on Wall Street after falling a day earlier on weak Chinese economic growth data.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange rose 114.31 points to 18,245.54 in opening trade.
