Tokyo: Stocks open higher

[Tokyo] Tokyo stocks opened higher on Monday, with investor sentiment underpinned by gains in US and European stocks last week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 0.35 per cent, or 76.02 points, to 22,084.47 in early trade while the broader Topix index was barely changed, inching up 1.22 points to 1,772.27.
