Tokyo: Stocks open higher on weaker yen

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened higher on Monday as a weaker yen lifted investor sentiment.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index climbed 0.52 per cent, or 85.41 points, to 16,631.23 in opening deals, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares rose 0.54 per cent, or 6.99 points, to 1,302.66.
