Tokyo: Stocks open lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Friday as exporters fell on a stronger yen.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index dropped 0.41 per cent, or 82.60 points, to 19,946.66 in the first few minutes while the Topix index of all first-section shares was down 0.34 per cent, or 5.48 points, to 1,628.34.
