Tokyo: Stocks open lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Wednesday as investors sought to lock in profits after recent rallies.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down 0.34 per cent or 100.87 points at 29,815.27 in early trade, while the broader Topix index edged down 0.2 per cent or 4.11 points to 2,059.27.
