Tokyo: Stocks open lower as China worries weigh

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Tuesday, dragged down by worries about the Chinese economy amid trade tensions with the United States.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 0.46 per cent, or 94.43 points, to 20,554.57 in early trade while the broader Topix index was down 0.33 per cent, or 5.06 points, at 1,550.45.
