Acronis opens its int'l headquarters in S'pore
ACRONIS, a global provider of data protection solutions, recently launched its international headquarters in Singapore, seeking to establish the country as its global hub for expansion into key Asian-Pacific (Apac) and international markets.
Acronis feels that there is good opportunity for growth in the Apac region, given the company's leadership position in image back-up and disaster recovery, as well as its understanding of local market needs. Moving to Singapore would strengthen the company's position, it reckons.
"The market for backup and data storage solutions is growing over 20 per cent a year, and that growth is accelerating," noted Acronis CEO Serguei Beloussov. "Thus, there is an opportunity for Acronis's data protection solutions. Additionally, more companies now use mobile devices for business operation, creating an opportunity for Acronis's secure mobility file access and sharing solutions."
