Apple increases prices of Macs in UK by 20%
[LONDON] While the world was being introduced to Apple Inc's latest computers Thursday, UK consumers started being charged more for the existing ones in the wake of the Brexit vote.
Apple increased the price of some of its computers in Britain by 20 per cent, such as the Mac Mini, which earlier in the week cost 399 pounds (S$679) but today costs 479 pounds for an identical model. The Mac Pro previously started at 2,499 pounds but now costs 2,999 pounds.
The US prices for the Mac Mini and Mac Pro haven't been changed.
Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
