Apple posts record profit despite selling fewer iPhones
It sold 77.3 million iPhones, far lower than analyst expectations of 80 to 83 million, but reported US$20 billion in profit

Apple executives on Thursday also touted the success of the company's businesses outside of the iPhone. Its services business, which includes the App Store, grew 18 per cent to US$8.5 billion in revenue.
