Apple posts record profit despite selling fewer iPhones
It sold 77.3 million iPhones, far lower than analyst expectations of 80 to 83 million, but reported US$20 billion in profit

In spite of the decline in phone sales, Apple reported record profit in the all-important holiday quarter.
