Compensation of top Oracle execs lower in FY2015

ORACLE Corp's highest-paid executives were awarded less in fiscal 2015 as the software maker granted performance-based stock in place of some options.
Billionaire founder Larry Ellison, who stepped down as chief executive officer in 2014, saw his compensation fall to US$62.1 million from US$100 million in the previous year, according to the Bloomberg Pay Index, a ranking of the 200 highest-paid US executives that prices equity grants at a company's fiscal year-end. His co-replacements Mark Hurd and Safra Catz were each awarded US$56.9 million. The previous year, all three were among the 20 highest-paid US executives, each receiving more than US$70 million, the index shows.
