Get the low-down on tech startups in Singapore at TechSG

THAT there are as many as 5,640 tech startups in Singapore (10.6 per cent of all startups); that quite a few of them are based in Blocks 71, 73 and 79 at JTC LaunchPad @ one- north; and that they employ over 33,000 people are facts perhaps not widely known.
But entrepreneurs, investors and the media can now easily access such real-time, integrated data and insights on the local tech entrepreneurial ecosystem, thanks to a free new platform: TechSG. Created by NUS Enterprise and IBM, it was launched on Thursday by Low Yen Ling, parliamentary secretary for the Ministries of Trade & Industry, and Education.
