Grammys give nominees a boost on Spotify, YouTube

THE Grammys isn't just about ratings, red carpets, golden statues, and crazy song mash-ups.
The annual awards show also drives an increase in streaming of nominees' songs on Spotify and YouTube, according to an analysis by Bloomberg Business. We asked the music service Spotify to look at the streaming activity of nominees for Record of the Year and Song of the Year on the Monday after the 2014 Grammys compared to the previous Monday.
