IF YOU have a connected home, you could at any moment, no matter where you are in the world, pull out your smartphone and adjust the air temperature in your living room, or the water temperature in your bathroom. If you are a fitness buff, with a connected wristband, you can keep track of your activity level, watch your progress over time and compare your performance with others.
