SINGAPORE-BASED data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) provider Just Analytics will be acquired by Nasdaq-listed technology solutions company Rackspace Technology, the latter announced on Wednesday (Jan 19).
The acquisition, which was completed for an undisclosed fee, is set to increase the US company's presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and leverage Just Analytics' ties to online application and services store Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
Just Analytics' proprietary data platform, Guzzle, is currently listed on the marketplace, and the company's work in creating scalable data pipelines and transforming customer data into insights has awarded it 4 regional Microsoft partner of the year awards.
The local business data provider's AI work also enables Guzzle to deploy predictive solutions and analyse data from critical business and operational functions for business end-users.
Rackspace Technology will keep the Just Analytics brand, as it has built "a well-known and respected brand among the leaders and customers of Microsoft Azure Data Analytics", the press statement said.
Kevin Jones, chief executive of Rackspace Technology, said that the acquisition will bring "market-leading cloud-based data, analytics and AI capabilities that are in demand from our customers and prospects".
