Microsoft co-founder Allen wants to teach machines common sense

The co-founder of Microsoft Paul Allen said that real progress in AI can only happen when machines are imbued with common sense.

MICROSOFT'S co-founder Paul Allen said on Wednesday that he was pumping an additional US$125 million into his non-profit computer research lab for an ambitious new effort to teach machines "common sense."
