Samsung revealed its new phone at an event on Tuesday morning (US time) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, with satellite events taking place simultaneously in London and Rio de Janeiro.

Registration of interest with the local telco operators as well as with major consumer electronics stores will start from noon on Aug 3; consumers can also visit certain Samsung stores during opening hours on Aug 3 to pre-order the phone. Pre-order collection is a day earlier on Aug 19.
