Samsung Pay adds Citibank Singapore to bank, payment networks
SAMSUNG Pay on Monday announced that it has added Citibank Singapore to its portfolio of banks and payment networks. This means that Citibank credit card members will have the option to make payments across Singapore using compatible Samsung mobile phones.
These include the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 4G+, S6 edge+ 4G+, S7 4G+ and S7 edge 4G+.
Earlier, Samsung Pay announced that it would allow customers holding Visa and MasterCard credit or debit cards issued by DBS/POSB, OCBC and Standard Chartered to tap their Samsung phones to pay.
Samsung Pay is accepted "almost anywhere" customers can swipe or tap a credit or debit card. The mobile payment service is expected to roll out here in June.
