S'pore startup scene not frothy: ACE chairman

THE recent whirl of startup happenings - new investments, Smart Nation developments and accelerator launches - has put the spotlight on starting up in Singapore and on concerns that the country may be in some sort of an entrepreneurship bubble. But Steven Fang, chairman of the Action Committee for Entrepreneurship (ACE), disagrees.
Dr Fang told BT: "I don't think Singapore is an entrepreneurship bubble because there have been very clear and specific successes in startups. Already, you can name some upcoming companies out of Singapore that are going regional or global."
