AT A glance, gaming company Razer's tie-up with online retailer Lazada - a digital game store launched on Wednesday - appears to be about providing Razer with an additional platform to tout its wares.
But underlying the partnership is Razer's push to broaden its offerings, from merely creating gaming hardware to being a software distributor and services provider as well.
