ALEX Gorsky is a man with a mission - one that he is pleased to share with all and sundry.

The chairman and chief executive of New York-listed Johnson & Johnson (J&J) notes that the consumer giant is marking the 75th anniversary of its "credo" or mission statement.

A top priority for his leadership is "keeping our credo culture front and centre and alive in everything that we do", Mr Gorsky - who took office in 2012 - tells The Business Times early into an interview at the company's year-old Asia-Pacific headquarters in Science Park.
