$500m ICT push for SMEs over next 3 years
Move aims to drive productivity growth that is needed to transform the economy
THE government will spend $500 million over the next three years hauling SMEs onto the infocomm technology (ICT) bandwagon through the ICT for Productivity and Growth (IPG) programme.
This will be one of the key drivers of productivity growth that is needed to transform the economy, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam said yesterday.
The IPG programme will cover three main areas: established solutions, emerging ones and access to high-speed connectivity.
