RETAIL sales for June edged up 0.4 per cent year on year, boosted by sales of motor vehicles, which rose at a double-digit clip.
Stripping out sales of motor vehicles, retail sales actually shrank 2.1 per cent. Sales of recreational goods as well as watches & jewellery fell, data from the Department of Statistics (DOS) indicated yesterday.
