Sands for Singapore Festival kicks off
THE Sands for Singapore Festival 2014, Marina Bay Sands' annual charity event, kicked off yesterday and will continue through this weekend.
Two public events took place yesterday: Tangle, an interactive playground using colourful elastic bands to create an abstract artwork, and the Sands for Singapore Inspiration Centre, which allows guests to create a fully-lit map of Singapore with donations in any amount.
This weekend's takings from Sands' other attractions such as ArtScience Museum, the Sampan Ride and the SkyPark Observation Deck will go towards Community Chest.
