[SINGAPORE] The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) is calling on the government to extend the Productivity and Innovation Credit (PIC) scheme by another three years until 2018.

It also urged the government to allow firms to retain their existing foreign workers when their employment passes or work permits are up for renewal.

This is "especially if they (the foreign workers) are already experienced and have made valued contributions to the companies' business operations", said SCCCI.
